MTV has joined the Love is Louder initiative, similar to Perez Hilton’s It Gets Better campaign, DoSomething.org, and The Trevor Project. MTV’s initiative features stars in their own homemade videos speaking directly to teens facing the torments of bullying who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. In the wake of a string of recent teen suicides, all resulting from anti-gay bullying, Vinny felt compelled to remind young people that there is hope. "I want you to know that I know how it feels to be bullied and disrespected. But I also want you to know that there's always, always love and support all around you," says Vinny in the video he posted. Examiner.com: Though we have heard from a number of different celebrities at one point or another in the battle to stop teen bullying across America, Vinny Guadagnino from "Jersey Shore" has been one of the more outspoken people from the world of TV. He previously made a video simply encouraging those suffering to hang in there, and now he has created a new message in conjunction with MTV and Facebook. Here is what Vinny has to say in full: "If you've ever seen our show, you know that things can get a little wild at the Shore. But no matter how out of hand things get you'll never see us making fun of somebody for who they are or who they choose to love, especially if they're lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. "No-one should ever be made fun of, especially for being brave enough to be who they are. If there is one thing in the world that I hate on, it's a bully."
